Stacey Broughton is a consummate performer and versatile entertainer with a passion for jazz. Her early years were filled with the sounds of Sarah Vaughan, Julie London, Sergio Mendes, Brazil 66 and the live sounds of jamming in her lounge room when jazz pianist Ray Aldridge visited the family home.

Inspired by the music that surrounded her younger years Stacey began studies in jazz guitar at 15 years and by the age of 22 added the alto sax to her collection of preferred instruments. Then she had an epiphany. Stacey realised she just wanted to sing!

In an industry where hype is the norm and outrageous stories are commonplace, it is refreshing to meet and deal with an act that is focused on getting the job done and prides themself on a high level of professionalism.  "Rocket" is just such an act.

Audiences and venues can now appreciate an act versatile enough to be warm and intimate, through the use of an acoustic guitar and sweet melodies; or rough, raucous and rock and roll with an electric guitar and programmed backing tracks.  With his prodigous repertoire and the latest in audio technology, "Rocket" can smoothly adapt to the changing needs of both venues and patrons.

Jacaranda Strings is a dynamic and outstanding string quartet which has spent the last seven years creating exquisite music.  Together they have played for more than six hundred weddings, and this brings a wealth of experience to each occasion in which they participate.

With one of the most diverse repertoires in the industry, Jacaranda Strings can easily create the perfect atmosphere at any function.  A typical play list can range from the classics to arrangements of popular songs. 

Duncan James features with a number of Big Bands and ensembles in Queensland throughout the year including The Brisbane Big Band,The Glen Miller Tribute Big Band and also at a number of special events and intimate shows including the Noosa Jazz Festival with the Duncan James Quartet .also featuring with Duo, Trio, Quintet and Eight Piece his  unique voice provides a warmth,depth and range that soars with a big band and engages delicately in the nuances of small ensemble improvisation.

Their repertoire includes Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, Eagles, Dire Straits, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, as well as Irish instrumentals, country classics, continental, and gypsy.
